Social justice has always been important to me. In light of BLM in 2020, I reviewed my high school's civics curriculum by attending virtual town halls, interviewing students how had taken the course, and compiling a report on improvements that would strengthen the curriculum. I presented this report to my high school Principal and the Head of the Social Studies Department, leading to the entire town social studies path to undergo formal review.
